After an unfortunate mix up that saw the departure of Emily in the third over we then got to witness two record breaking partnerships - Kate Salmon (48) & Lulu Ryals (33) for a highest 2 nd wicket Manly Mollie Dive partnership with 79 runs and then Kate & Chloe Osborne (61) for an equalling highest 3 rd wicket Manly Mollie Dive partnership of 74. After winning the toss and electing to bat the Manly girls put on a display that kept the record books ticking over. Manly 6/190 off 30 Overs (C Osborne 61, K Salmon 48, L Ryals 33) defeated Canterbury and Western Suburbs 7/105 off 30 overs (E Henry 2/14, J James 1/6, L Ryals 1/8) Our first away game for the season and we found ourselves arriving to an impressive venue with a fast outfield and some short boundaries, we knew there was going to be plenty of runs today.
